Wedding Dress

So, I am making my wedding dress(es). Well not really making them. I’m just designing them and doing the fitting work using muslin fabric. I figured this way we can avoid fitting issues or any mistakes when it comes to the actual cut. Once the muslin is complete, I intend on sending my work to a tailor in India who will actually make my dresses.

I have to say, I am pretty excited and kind of nervous since anything can happen. So far my muslin for my bodice is complete, it just needs a few tweaks here and there. I’ve been losing weight in the few months so it has thrown my measurements off. My deadline to send my muslin is the end of January. But we’ll see how that goes, because it probably won’t.

The dress you see up there was the dress I was the dress I was making. But it seems like every time I do a search on Google, I find something nicer and I change my mind.

So here is my work so far.
