Wedding Dress – Part 2

Hey All,

Remember when I was designing my wedding dress? Well it was a success ..well sort of. I originally was going to wear 2 Indian lehengas, but I ended up wearing only one. I wanted one dark pink one for the morning and one white one for the evening.

Here are the two dresses I wanted:

I wanted this for my evening ceremony and reception.

Before having the dress made, I sent out my sewing patterns to a tailor in India. He stitched them up using cotton material and shipped it back to me. I was quite pleased with their work.

Pretty good job, huh?!

Here are the final products, as you can see neither dress turned out quite how I wanted:

This is what the tailor sent me the first time. I loved it, but it needed more bling.

All in all, both dresses turn out beautiful, but I just wasn’t happy with my white one. However, after much deliberation, I decided to get myself another dress – and I am so happy I did.

I got this dress instead.

My evening dress.
